This is a story about an owl named pip and he wanted to explore the word befor the stars aperd. he wanted to go and see what there was while he could befor it was to dark for him to see things, his mum would always tell him to go back to sleep and he would allways nod his head but he acually did  not listen and did the opesit of what she said.

In 1940 jewish peolpe in ansdadam had a very unfaer life they wernt allowed to got out after 8:00 and they had to live in an annex 

The floorboard was crackling  and the wall were grey and looked dusty know the enchrice to the annex was very old and  there was scratched out wallpaper, they had an unlimited space in their rooms so they couldnt do as much, know at half past 12:00 the warehouse would go out to lunch the helpers and the people hiding would eat together in the annex, then at 13:00 they would turn on the radio for the latest news from the BBC the helpers would stay until 13:45 then go back to work at that point the people in hiding could have a nap and use the time to study and write by about 16:00 it was time for  coffee and dinner preparation. They lived an unfear life but they had to go with it, they didnt like how they live but every day they had to live like this.

This is Jonnhy Pohe the first ever Moari Pilot. Jonnhy Pohe was the first maori pilot and he got told bye so many peolple that he should not be a pilot and go find sommthing else to do but he did not listen to then and he did what he wanted to do. know this DLO tells you abit about him and how he was able to becom a pilot.

It was once a sunny morning and the owls were all going to sleep but one of them did not want to sleep because he was too excited to fly that evening. I wanted to fly already but  my mum just wouldn’t stop saying no so I just tried coming up with my own plans before the evening came around.

I want to fly mum  please im old enough just let me fly come on mum no you gotta wait until the evening and when the evening It was my first time flying with everybody but i was to excited to even sleep through out the day, i stood on the branch and watched the other flying freely and the wild animals running throughout the forest. I was very jealous. I wanted to be free but my mum said I could not go out and fly yet. I was very annoyed that I couldn’t go flying just yet but I had to find something to do because I did not want to sleep.

My mum woke up she did not seem happy go to sleep mum said to me i replied back  mum i cant sleep and i dont want to sleep im to exited cant we just go flying yet i ask no! We have to wait until the evening comes around. Come on just let me atleast go and play amongst the trees please NO! Go to sleep, there is only 3 to 4 hours until the evening just go to sleep until then.

Hey mum is it time, go to sleep but look the sky is dark i said mum finally woke up and took one look at the sky and this time she didn’t yell at me and tell me to go back to sleep plenty of times but maybe next time in should just listen because once i started to fly my wings would no co-operate probably because i was so tired and i wanted to sleep but we could stop because we had not made it to our location yet but now i know that i do have to sleep before our evening flies.

This DLO is about social influenc and the way it can chang things. Social influenc is when you find somthing online and it can make you do the  things you see because you think it would be cool to do but some time you have to be carful with what you see because it could lead you to somthing dangerous or unsafe. but this DLO is a positive DLO about social influenc and what it can take you into.

We leart hot to do Multiplacation using algorithm and it fun using algorithm for multiplacation.Multiplacation is the one thing i can not do but i can do divition and addition along with subtraction but i have learnt how to do it properly and know its not that hard but the thing is i only know my times table up to 11 im still learning how to do 12 times table but i can still forget the answers for most the questions but that is ok becuase i lear along the way.

In our math group we learnd how to do addition using algorithm, we first learned how to do addition on the white boards then after we got the hang of  it we did it in our books. At first I was very confuse all though i did it on the white board perfectly but when i did it in my book i got confuse because i didnt know how to put it in my book but then i was  able to do it and know, I was able to do it before I came in LS2 because i didnt use algorithm last year but now i Addition is not hard any more.

Loraya and I made a DLO of what the people at the waitangi signing aswell as what there expectation are. Loraya and I used speech bubbles and thought  bubbles to reflect thing and what our point of view is and how we think they see or say things.

Loraya and I along with River Iki Sharukuh and Tai   were in a group and we reacreated the face of  Dame Whina Copper. the first thing we did was have a big white  papper and we cutted it into eight peaces, then it came to the fun part we got to draw Dame whina copper we had two choses inlarge it or just  got to draw it right onto the papper, next we coloured Dame whina copper and got to shade it aswell then the last thing we did was got a black papper and glued Dame onto the black peace of papper and from the help  of Mrs Anderson she cut out our creation.

we had lots of fun making this but It also took quit a while to put it all together but the main thing is that we had fun making it and we cant wait to make another arts recreation.

This is the Kia Ora lady also know as Dame Naida Glavish she was the first ever person to announce the word kia ora during her job.  she was a phone operater and one day she was on the phone with someone and instead of saying hello how are you or just hi she said Kia Ora.
